From a Little Idea to Pavlova House

Hi, I’m Jessica Eustaquio, the girl behind Pavlova House: the CEO, the baker, the dishwasher, the delivery girl, the customer service rep… basically, a little bit of everything.

Pavlova House was born in 2020, during a time when the whole world seemed to stop. Jobs were disappearing, businesses were closing, and, like so many families, we started wondering, “What are we going to do?”

I knew I wanted to find a way to help my family financially, but I never imagined the answer would be waiting in my kitchen. I’ve loved baking for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I was always making cupcakes, tres leches, and little treats for my family. I baked simply because it made me happy.

Then came 2020. I decided to take that little love I’d carried since childhood and turn it into something bigger. Before Thanksgiving, my family became my official pavlova taste-testers. They ate, they tested, they shared their opinions… and I kept baking.

On Thanksgiving 2020, I made my very first pavlova to sell. Somehow, that little decision changed my life. What started as a way to help my family through a difficult season became something I fell completely in love with: a business, a community, a dream I never knew I had.

Today, I still think about that girl in 2020, standing in her kitchen and not knowing where this little idea would take her. Honestly, I wish I could go back and tell her:

“Keep going. One day, people will celebrate their most special moments with something you made with your own hands.”

Today, Pavlova House is still proudly making pavlovas here in Miami. We make BIG, beautiful portions from scratch and with so much love. Every pavlova that leaves my kitchen carries a tiny piece of that original dream with it.

So when you order from Pavlova House, you’re not just getting dessert. You’re supporting the little girl who always loved to bake, the woman who took a chance during one of the hardest times in the world, and a dream that started with a few family taste-testers around a table in 2020.
